Invitation to View the 20-R1 District Directory

Club Introduction to the eDistrictDirectory system

Hello [Account Name] Lions [Official Title] [Member: First Name],

Our Lions District 20-R1 is now using a new system that helps with communications across the district. I'm also hoping that clubs can use it for their administrative type of communication within their clubs. This helps ensure that the contact information and roles are is accurate for their officers and members.

There is now a weekly newsletter of events at our district website and it is designed to be easily viewable even on a mobile device. People won't need to receive an email to visit it.

If we post our upcoming events, it will be helpful to help advertise it to other clubs or officers in the across our district to see it while minimizing the amount of emails we send and receive.

It is on the landing page of the district website. We can also add it to our club page on our district so it will be filtered by the club name and will only show the newsletter pertinent to [Account Name] Lions.

Newsletter Reminders to District and Club Leadership for Review Prior to Sending to all Members

Hello [Account Name] Lions [Official Title] [Member: First Name],

You are receiving this note as you are part of the 20-R1 leadership as our DG, IPDG, VDGs, District Secretary, District Marketing Chair, Admin.

I'm hoping to send the link to the district weekly newsletter link as one of them is the important deadline of of the clubs updating the officer information on the Lions portal.
Please forward me any flyer image and a caption that should be included. I hope we can make this a practice to have all the clubs share their upcoming events so we can all send it out without spamming each other with so many emails each week to keep track of. This is #1 of the three.

1. Send a reminder to specific roles, perhaps secretaries of club, district to send their events or post it themselves on our district website.
2. Send the link to all the Lions in the district with emails - they can unsubscribe. I will need to retest this feature as there have been changes.
3. Send reminders for any upcoming important deadlines.
